ThyroMobile Medical Mission Launch in Cebu

CEBU CITY, PHILIPPINES – ThyroMobile, proudly announced the successful launch of its services in Cebu City on September 25, 2023. This milestone marked a significant achievement for ThyroMobile, as it fulfilled its mission to make thyroid health assessments more convenient and accessible to individuals in the Philippines.

The launch event took place at Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for Capacity building and Brgy. Carreta Covered Court for Lay forum. Attendees had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with ThyroMobile’s services, meet the dedicated team behind this innovative healthcare solution, and savor refreshments. Additionally, free thyroid health consultations and testing were made available to all attendees.

Participated in by the Thyromobile proponents; namely, the Iodine Global Network (IGN), Philippine Thyroid Association (PTA), Thyroid Federation International (TFI), Rotary Club of University District Manila (RCUDM), Merck, Inc, and Salinas Foods, Inc in cooperation with the Philippine Medical Association, Cebu Medical Society, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) and the Department of Health (DOH7).

Following the conclusion of the Capacity Building Program, the Panelists moved on to hold a press conference in the conference room of VSMMC. This press event was attended and covered by various media outlets, including GMA DYSS, TV5, DYLA, Sunstar Cebu, CDN Digital, Philippine Information Agency Region 7, CNN, MyTV Cebu, Philippine News Agency, and UNTV.
